June 2, 2010 Raised over half of the money needed $16, 342! Our goal is $30,000. WOW! Only $13,658 to go.

May 6, 2010 Received our dossier packet.
May 4, 2010 Mailed our contracts/paperwork to AGCI.
May 3, 2010 We have our first "big chunk" of money $7390. We are blown away!
May 1, 2010 BBQ fundraiser. We made over $2000!
April 6, 2010 We have our AGCI contracts notarized.
April 4, 2010 Emily had a lemonade stand to raise money. She made almost $500.
April 1, 2010 Mailed fundraising letters to friends and family.
March 30, 2010 Orientation call with AGCI.
March 27, 2010 Started this blog and sent a mass email to family and friends.
March 25, 2010 Our application is approved!
March 7, 2010 Sent in the official online application with fee. We also told our families.

February 2010 Decided to move forward to adopt from Ethiopia and use All God's Children Internatonal (AGCI).

That is so awesome that ya'll cooked the Ethiopian food! So sad we missed ya'll when you came through MS! I think we were maybe at the beach when ya'll were here! So glad everything is going great with the adoption! Sounds like we are doing the same things...a lot of paperwork! :)
